Born in Halifax and raised in Fall River, Dr. Alex attended Acadia University where he graduated in 2017 with a Bsc. Kinesiology. This is where he found his passion for helping others move better, perform better, and get the the most out of their life! This led Dr. Alex to take his studies south of the border where he attended the New York Chiropractic College, of which he graduated in December of 2021.
Dr. Alex is a certified strength & conditioning specialist and during his time at Acadia worked alongside multiple varsity teams and local athletes in the Annapolis Valley. Through his education and clinical experience Dr. Alex has been able to work with patients of all ages, abilities, limitations, and underlying health conditions. Dr. Alex has extensive knowledge in anatomy, neurology, nutrition, biomechanics, movement assessment, exercise programming and rehabilitation. Tim graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2021. Since graduating, Tim has been working in a multi-disciplinary clinic for the last 3 years continuing
to improve his techniques. During his time, as a massage therapist, he has treated a variety of patients with different conditions such as whiplash, concussion, carpal tunnel, sciatica, stroke and postural dysfunctions. He has been in good standings with NHPC for the past 3
years.
Tim utilises many techniques during his massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release and myoskeletal techniques. He also

After growing up in New Glasgow, NS, Marianne moved to Ontario to complete a Bachelor of
Music in Performance from the University of Toronto.
With a focus on orchestral trumpet, she
had the privilege of performing with many organizations such as the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific, and Symphony Nova Scotia.
Following her time at U of T, Marianne completed a Master of Physical Therapy from the
University of British Columbia.
During this time, she travelled across British Columbia to gain a
wide range of clinical experience such as high intensity stroke rehabilitation, post-operative and
high acuity patient populations, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and athletic and workplace
injuries. Since graduating, Marianne has completed her Level 1 certification in manual therapy
and looks forward to pursuing further education in this area of practice.

Leigh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1999 from Dalhousie University. She then worked and traveled abroad in Australia and the United States before returning to school at the University of Alberta to complete a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Once completing her degree in 2005, she returned to the East Coast to begin her career and has been working in a private practice setting since that time.
Leigh has taken numerous courses in manual therapy and completed an Intermediate Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2010 and an Advanced Diploma in 2012. She is registered as a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). CAMPT-Certified ™ physiotherapists offer clinical expertise from advanced training to help our patients get better, recover faster and stay healthier.
In addition, Leigh has completed post-graduate courses in acupuncture, muscle imbalance, taping, and functional dry needling. Véronique earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa in 2002. Originally from rural Ontario, she briefly worked in Ottawa before venturing out to discover the East Coast, where she worked in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Later, Véronique worked in rural Australia for a year before returning to Nova Scotia, the place she now calls “home.” She has trained extensively in manual therapy and received her diploma in Intermediate Manual and Manipulative therapy in 2010 and the Advanced Diploma in 2013. Daniela Rubinger is a 1988 graduate of Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy. Following several years at Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center, she began a private practice at Halifax’s Physioclinic Dalplex in 1991.
From 1991 to 2005, Daniela managed the clinic and was highly involved in the treatment of athletes on the professional and varsity levels. She has provided services to many sporting events and was the chief therapist for the 1998 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships and 2004’s Women’s World Hockey Championships.
Throughout her career, Daniela has taken on many post-secondary courses in acupuncture, manual therapy, sports therapy, taping, and muscular imbalances.
In 2005, she opened Citadel Physiotherapy. Daniela has worked closely with Dr. Mark Glazebrook developing a non-operable Achilles protocol and has been involved in research with his team. She has also studied the effects of exercise in patients with early signs of dementia alongside Dr. Ken Rockwood.
